Job Description

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within our organization. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company’s goals and objectives while fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire qualified candidates for open positions. Develop job descriptions, source candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions in collaboration with hiring managers.

Develop and implement onboarding programs to welcome new employees and facilitate their integration into the organization. Provide orientation sessions, introduce company policies and procedures, and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, providing guidance, counseling, and conflict resolution as needed to maintain a positive work environment.

Develop and administer performance management programs to evaluate employee performance, set goals, provide feedback, and support professional development. Conduct performance reviews, facilitate goal-setting discussions, and identify opportunities for training and development.

Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees at all levels. Develop training programs, workshops, and resources to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and capabilities.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in legislation and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain legal compliance.

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits. Manage benefits enrollment, provide guidance to employees on benefit options, and serve as a liaison with benefit providers.

Oversee HR administrative functions, including employee record-keeping, payroll processing, and HRIS management. Maintain accurate employee data, update HR systems, and generate reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in HR management roles, with a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with employees at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven HR decisions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
